USSSA ALL-STARS - https://usssaleague.com/
At the end of each Spring season, Phenix City Youth Baseball will create All-Star teams based on the ages listed below. Each team will have 11-15 players. Players selected to the All-Star teams will be announced late May. Teams will start practices shortly after with Tournaments that run from June thru July. These are highly competitive tournaments with intense competition that provides a great learning experience for every player, parent, and coach involved. It should be considered an honor and a privilege to represent your league as an All-Star. All-Star season is a significant time commitment for all involved, and the expectation is that players will be available for all practices and games. Depending on the tournament, travel may be involved. Any expenses related to this are the responsibility of the family. The purchase of the player's All-Star uniform is also the responsibility of the family.
For a player to be considered for one of the All-Star teams, they must compete in at least 75% of games scheduled during the season including the playoff tournament. Head Coaches will meet with the Division Rep and League President and/or Vice President. They will be presented with a ballot of eligible players to select. Each ballot will be collected and counted by the League President and/or Vice President. Players who receive unanimous votes are placed on the team followed by those who receive a majority of votes until all roster spots are filled. In the event of a tie votes, ballots will be returned to the Coaches to vote again on those players who received the same number of votes.
All-Star teams will consist of one Head Coach and up to three Assistant Coaches. A candidate is any Coach or Assistant Coach that was a part of a team staff during the Spring season.
